Dr. Berna Saglik earned her DDS degree from Marmara University in Istanbul, Turkey, and her MS in Prosthodontics from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Upon graduation, she joined the faculty as a full-time member. Dr. Saglik serves as the Program Director for the Graduate Prosthodontics Program and the Dental Postgraduate Program in Prosthodontics. She has received numerous teaching accolades, including the Dr. Paul Gibbons Award and the ADEA/ADEA Council of Students, Residents, and Fellows Junior Faculty Award. She is an alumna of the ADEA Leadership Institute, Class of 2013. Dr. Saglik is a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists and the International College of Oral Implantologists and member of the American Dental Education Association, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics. She is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine. A published author, Dr. Saglik has contributed to peer-reviewed journals in the fields of advanced prosthodontic procedures and dental implants. She also maintains an intramural faculty practice limited to Prosthodontics.
