Dr. Youngjoo E. Kim received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loma Linda University, Loma Linda, CA in 2004. After completing a general practitioner residency at St Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, NY, she went on to pursue a pediatric dentistry residency at New York University in 2005. Â¬â€ She served the Bay area as a pediatric dentist in private practice for three years post-residency.
In 2011 Dr. Kim joined the faculty of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry as a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry.Â¬â€ She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.Â¬â€ Dr. Kim's research interests include dental education, laser dentistry, and pulp therapy in primary teeth. She currently resides in Ann Arbor, MI with her husband and two sons.
