BIOGRAPHY

My career in dental hygiene began in 2008 after graduating with my BSDH from University of Michigan. I enjoyed working in private practice in the Washington DC area for 13 years. In 2011 I received my Master of Public Health where my focus was access to care for underserved and at risk populations. I began teaching clinical dental hygiene at Northern Virginia Community College in 2016. During my time at NOVA I was able to expand my teaching experiences to include radiology and local anesthesia. I am privileged to be a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association, the Michigan Dental Hygiene Association, and the American Dental Educators Association.
