BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Won Oh received his dental degree from Chonbuk National University, South Korea in 1988. Dr. Oh received his specialty certificate in Prosthodontics and Masters Degree from the University of Minnesota in 2000. He is a Diplomate of American Board of Prosthodontics as a Board Certified Prosthodontist and a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists. He is a Clinical Professor of Dentistry at the University of Michigan. Prior to joining the faculty at the University of Michigan, he received his specialty certificate in Maxillofacial prosthetics at UCLA in 2005.

Dr. Oh’s teaching activities include instructing predoctoral students in the Comprehensive Care Clinic as well as graduate students in Prosthodontics Specialty Clinic. He serves as a course director for Advanced Removable Prosthodontics at predoctoral and graduate levels, and lectures on ceramics and bonded restorations as a guest speaker. His research interests are in the areas of prosthodontics such as developing new protocols of prosthodontic procedures and characterizing dental ceramics and resin composites, including dental implants and color. He has lectured nationally and internationally on topics of his interest in prosthodontics and implant dentistry. He is the primary author of over 70 articles published in peer-reviewed prosthodontic journals.

Dr. Oh maintains a specialty practice limited to Prosthodontics at the School of Dentistry's Dental Faculty Associates Clinic.
