BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Jonathan Misch is a dedicated dental professional. Dr. Misch holds a Doctor of Dental Surgery and is completing a Master’s degree in Periodontal Biology from the University of Michigan. His academic and clinical excellence were recognized with the Periodontal Alumni Award, and the Donald Kerr Periodontal Scholarship. His research was recognized with 1st Prize at the Midwest Society of Periodontology's Graduate Research forum, as well as a finalist position in the American Academy of Periodontology Foundation’s Balint Orban Memorial Research Competition for his impactful research on the Prosthetic Impact on Peri-Implant Bone Loss. He is the 2024 Chairman of the Midwest Society of Periodontology annual meeting and reviewer for the journal Clinical Implant Dentistry and Related Research. Dr. Misch is also the current CEO of the Misch Implant Institute, an institution founded by his father, where he works alongside his course directors to offer attendees the opportunity to learn from global authorities in implant dentistry. As a lecturer, Dr. Misch focuses on the topic of his thesis, understanding the factors that influence peri-implant bone remodeling. At home, he enjoys time with his wife, Jaclyn, and their son, Logan.
