BIOGRAPHY
Matthew Galli is a graduate student in the Periodontics and Oral Medicine Department at the
University of Michigan School of Dentistry. He completed his DDS at the University of Toronto
in 2019 where he started his own charity initiative aimed at providing gifts for underprivileged
teenagers during the holiday season. He was also president of Xi Psi Phi Omicron Chapter dental
fraternity in his senior year. During his BSc and DDS, he conducted research focused on
macrophage polarization and osteoclastogenesis in the context of periodontitis and has
published several papers in peer reviewed journals on these topics. His passions outside of
dentistry include singing, as well as playing tennis, chess, and guitar. He can be reached at
