Dr. Sam Malcheff grew up in Rochester, Michigan. He attended Howard University in Washington D.C. for his undergraduate studies where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration. He returned to Michigan where he completed his pre-dental course work at Wayne State University while working full time at the Detroit Fire Department as a fire fighter. He then completed his dental training at the University of Michigan where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery. After dental school, Dr. Malcheff worked at a public health clinic in Detroit before returning to Ann Arbor where he researched infant oral health to receive a Master of Science in pediatric dentistry. During his specialty program, Dr. Malcheff taught pre-clinical and clinical pediatric dentistry to undergraduate dental students. He is currently board eligible and an active member of local, state and national dental organizations. He joined the University of Michigan in 2008 as Adjunct Clinical Lecturer in Pediatric Dentistry.
