Dr. Chris Roberts earned his B.S. and D.D.S. degrees from the Ohio State University. He completed his orthodontic training and M.S. degree at the Eastman Dental Center and the University of Rochester, where he authored or co-authored several scientific articles.

Living in Findlay, Ohio, Dr. Roberts has taught one day per week at Michigan since 1990. He is a Past-President of the Ohio Association of Orthodontists, the Great Lakes Association of Orthodontists and is currently on the Board of Trustees of the American Association of Orthodontists, in line to be President of the AAO in 2020-21.

He and his wife, Susan, have two children, Dr. Brian Roberts, an Emergency Medicine physician in New York City, and Captain Sarah Roberts Zerr, a former Marine Corps helicopter pilot now living in Washington DC. In his spare time, he enjoys running, having completed 24 Boston Marathons as of 2023.
