I graduated from the Lansing Community College Dental Hygiene Program with an Associate’s in Applied Science degree in 1997 and have practiced clinically for more than 20 years. In 2015, I graduated from the University of Michigan Dental Hygiene Degree Completion Program with a Bachelor of Science. Upon graduation from U-M, I obtained a position with Heartlands Institute of Technology where I teach the Healthcare Foundations course to high school juniors and seniors. My role within the U-M Division of Dental Hygiene is to support the online programs curriculum within the learning management system. In August 2018, I earned a Master of Arts degree in Workforce Education and Development from Western Michigan University. I am an active member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association and past Treasurer of the Michigan Dental Hygienists’ Association. I am also a member of Sigma Phi Alpha-Nu Chapter.
