BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Hammaker is a long time resident of southeastern Michigan. He started his career at the University of Michigan in 2010, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biology and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (2014). Soon after graduation he worked in private practice and taught part time in the Department of Cariology, Restorative Sciences and Endodontics. After some time in private practice he returned to his alma mater to complete a residency in Prosthodontics. In 2016 he was awarded with the Joseph Clayton Scholarship. Dr. Hammaker obtained his certificate in Prosthodontics in May 2018, and he is currently working on his research project about ultra-translucent zirconia. Dr. Hammaker joined the department of BMS as a Clinical Lecturer in 2018 and currently teaches in the Vertical Integrated Clinics. He is a member of the American College of Prosthodontists.
