Dr. June Chu-Chun Hsiao was born and grew up in Taiwan. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in Taiwan in 2003 and is also a Diplomate of the Taiwanese Board of Pediatric Dentistry since 2008. She moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan and finished the pediatric dentistry specialty training at the University of Michigan. Upon graduation, she joined the University of Michigan School of Dentistry as a Clinical Lecturer in the Department of Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry in 2017.
Dr. Hsiao is a board certified pediatric dentist and is involved in teaching in both the predoctoral and graduate Pediatric Dental Clinics. She expertizes in behavior management for pediatric patients and also providing care for children with special health care needs. Apart from clinical care, her research interest has been investigating new materials for pulp therapy. Dr. Hsiao volunteers for dental missions internationally and is also fluent in Mandarin.
