Dr. Berna Saglik received her DDS degree from Marmara University in Istanbul, Turkey, and MS in prosthodontics from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Upon graduation she started working as a full time faculty member. She is currently teaching in the graduate prosthodontics clinic as well as directing Removable Partial Denture course for sophomore dental students. She is also the co-director of Dental Postgraduate Program in Prosthodontics. Dr.Saglik has received numerous teaching awards including Dr.Paul Gibbons award in 2010, and ADEA/ADEA Council of Students, Residents and Fellows Junior Faculty award in 2011. She’s an alumni of ADEA Leadership Institute, Class of 2013. Dr. Saglik is a member of the American College of Prosthodontists, American Dental Education Association and a fellow of the International College of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Saglik is a diplomate of American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine. She is a published author with publications in peer-reviewed journals in the area of advanced prosthodontics procedures and dental implants. She maintains an intramural faculty practice limited to Prosthodontics.
