Dr. Dill was born and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Albion College in Music Performance and Biochemistry. For dental school he returned to Ann Arbor and received his DDS from The University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2011. After dental school, he taught part time in the Department of Cariology, Restorative Sciences and Endodontics as an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor and worked in private practice in Ann Arbor.

Dr. Dill enrolled in the Graduate Prosthodontics program at the University of Michigan in 2014 while maintaining a part-time private practice. He was awarded the Joseph Clayton Scholarship during his first year. His master's thesis was "Marginal and internal gaps of 6-unit Chromium-Cobalt fixed dental prostheses fabricated from two contemporary protocols". Research interests include measurement of fit for 3D DLS (direct laser sintering) printed prostheses; and dental photography color calibration. He received his master's degree from the Horace H. Rackham School of Graduate Studies in 2017. He is a member of the American College of Prosthodontists, and Richard H. Kingery Prosthodontic Study Club. He is a licensed prosthodontist in the state of Michigan.

Dr. Dill currently teaches in the Comprehensive Care Clinics part time, and works in private practice.
