Dr. Alwalie graduated from the University of Jordan in
2011 and completed a dental residency at Jordan
University Hospital. Upon coming to the U.S, she
obtained her dental hygiene license in the State of Florida
and practiced there. In 2016 she started her Master of
Public Health program at Benedictine University, where
she graduated with honors and was awarded the
Benedictine Student Success Award. Then she went to
complete a residency in Dental Public Health with NYU
Langone Health and was recognized for her “Outstanding
Service as a Resident in the Advanced Education Program
in Dental Public Health NYU Langone Dental Medicine”.
Currently, Dr. Alwalie is a prosthodontic postgraduate at
the University of Michigan and plans to obtain her
certificate and masters in prosthodontics. She believes
that prosthodontics is the true essence of dentistry, and
seeing her patients smile confidently is why she is
passionate about this field.
Amna moved recently to Michigan with her husband
Hussain, a critical care physician at Ascension Hospital. As
a mother of two, Amna enjoys spending time with her
family, and in her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading
history books, and trying new cooking recipes.
