BIOGRAPHY

From a young age, I had a strong inclination towards pursuing a career in the dental field. Witnessing the exceptional skills and passion of my dental hygienist during my younger years inspired me to become one myself. This led me to embark on my educational journey by gaining acceptance into the University of Michigan Dental Hygiene program. After graduating in 2021, I began working full-time in a private practice. However, I realized my passion for dental hygiene education remained unfulfilled. This is where I made the decision to join the Dental Hygiene program at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry as a part-time Clinical Instructor while continuing to dedicate part of my work in private practice. To further enhance my professional growth and contribute to the dental hygiene community, I have actively engaged with organizations such as the American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA), The American Dental Education Association (ADEA), as well as continuing to serve on Andy RDH’S advisory committee. It is a privilege to continue evolving alongside my current and future students, while seeing the growth that they have while striving towards becoming a professional in dental hygiene.
