Prosthodontic Post Graduates



Dr. Abdul-Rahman Al-Amoudi was born in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and raised in Egypt and Saudi Arabia. He graduated from King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah, where he obtained a Doctor of Dental Medicine and Surgery degree in 2016. While still a student, not only was he working for a dental pharmaceutical company but he also got an observership in private practice during the summer. After graduation, he worked in four different hospitals across Jeddah as a dental intern, two of which were military hospitals. After the internships, he signed a contract with Esthetic Dentistry and Prosthodontics departments at King Abdulaziz University to conduct a Randomized Clinical Trial for two years. After two months of the same year, he was recruited by his mentors in their private practice, where he worked as a general dentist and medical director for approximately two years. His main scientific interests include Implantology, Tooth Biology, Biomaterials, Occlusion. He joined the Dental Postgraduate Program in Prosthodontics at the University of Michigan in the fall of 2020. He ultimately plans to obtain a master's degree in prosthodontics and a Ph.D. in biomaterials. He intends to acquire knowledge to serve his country and societies worldwide that lack the availability of dental healthcare.
