BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Ana Carracho is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Biologic and Materials Sciences & Prosthodontics, School of Dentistry, University of Michigan. She was born and raised in Lisbon, Portugal, where she obtained her DDS and Integrated Master’s degree. After graduation, Dr. Carracho started her private practice activity in Lisbon with focus on fixed prosthodontics and implant dentistry. In 2019 she joined the Graduate Program in Prosthodontics at University of Michigan, leading to a Certificate and Master’s degree in Prosthodontics. Her main scientific interests include dental ceramics, adhesive dentistry, implant prosthodontics and digital dentistry. She is a member of dental organizations including the ITI (International Team for Implantology), IADR (International Association for Dental Research) and the ACP (American College of Prosthodontics). Her research work has been presented in different scientific meetings including the IADR General Session and ACP Meetings. Currently, Dr Carracho is focused on her clinical practice, teaching activity and her research related to 3D printed ceramics.
