Riley Schaff* (2017 DDS), Ann Arbor, MI
Dr. Schaff is a general dentist practicing part-time in Jackson, MI, part time in Ann Arbor, and part-time in the VICs clinics at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. He grew up in Jackson, MI, moved to Seattle for a GPR, and now resides in Ann Arbor. He has been heavily involved with the Washtenaw District Dental Society and Michigan Dental Association as a new dentist.
M Amin Jaffer* (1997 DDS), Ann Arbor, MI
Dr. Jaffer completed his undergraduate education at Florida International University in Miami, Florida. During these years, he earned the honor of being on the National Dean's list two years in a row. In 1997, he completed his dental education at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry and has been in private practice since then. Dentistry is his passion and he enjoys talking with his patients. One of his strengths is that he takes his time explaining and educating his patients so they can maintain and improve their dental health and smile.
Joseph Yancho (2018 DDS), Traverse City, MI
Dr. Yancho graduated from University of Michigan undergrad in 2014 and the School of Dentistry in 2018, then completed an AEGD and served 5 years as a dental officer in the U.S. Navy. After separating from the military, he moved back to his hometown of Traverse City, MI, where he joined his father Phil Yancho (DDS 1985) in private practice. Shortly after moving home, Joe got involved as a preceptor for U of M dental students at the United We Smile clinic, and became the president for Resort District Dental Society, one of the most active component chapters in the state.
Robert Dost (1980 DDS), Lexington, MI
Robert C. Dost, DDS, is a 1980 graduate of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Upon graduating from dental school, he moved to the Virginia suburbs of Washington, DC, where he purchased a practice from a retiring dentist and practiced for 42 years, retiring in October of 2022. He and his wife have retired to the Village of Lexington, MI, where they are full-time residents. He is currently a Trustee of the Village of Lexington. While in practice, he incorporated all phases of general dentistry into his practice, including orthodontics, endodontics, and implants. For over twenty years, he volunteered at the Prince William County Free Clinic, providing free dental care to the needy of the county. When the dental clinic closed, he continued to treat patients from the Free Clinic on a once-a-month basis in his private practice. He wishes to continue this service by running for the Board of Governors.

Mona Riaz (2012 BS, 2020 MS), Farmington Hills, MI
Mona's career in dentistry began as a Registered Dental Assistant in 2008. She is also a two-time graduate of the University of Michigan where she received a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2012 and 2020. Since graduating, she has held positions within various professional settings, including clinical practice, academia, research, and public health. She has been teaching at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry (UMSoD) since 2016 and has taught clinical and didactic courses in the entry-level and online programs. Currently, she holds a full-time position with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services as an Oral Health Workforce Consultant and a part-time position with the UMSoD as an Adjunct Faculty. Her professional memberships include Sigma Phi Alpha-Nu Chapter, the American Dental Hygienists’ Association, the American Dental Education Association, the International Association for Dental Research, and the Association of State & Territorial Dental Directors.
Alicia Worden RDH (2019 BSDH), Linden, MI
Alicia is an accomplished dental hygienist who graduated from the School of Dentistry in 2019. As the lead hygienist at a private practice in Milford, MI, she plays a pivotal role in mentoring a team of 8 hygienists, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment. Each year, Alicia helps to coordinate a Children's Program, dedicated to educating local school district students about the importance of oral health, instilling healthy habits from a young age. With a passion for professional growth, she actively explores new ideas and research to enhance practices within the field, contributing to the advancement of dental hygiene.
