Image Amy Ellen Karpenko Clinical Assistant Professor of Dentistry amywatts@umich.edu 734-647-2445 Biography Dr. Karpenko earned her DDS degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1999. She enjoyed private practice for 18 years focusing on restorative and family dentistry. Dr. Karpenko joined the faculty in 2017 teaching part time in the predoctoral clinics before joining the faculty full time as a Clinical Assistant Professor in 2019. She currently serves as co-director of the third and fourth year predoctoral Comprehensive Care Clinics and enjoys working with students as a faculty coach. Dr. Karpenko maintains a clinic practice as a member of the Dental Faculty Associates.
