The University of Michigan - School of Dentistry offers two options for students interested in obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene.

Dental Hygiene Undergraduate Program (BS)

2-year Dental Hygiene Bachelor of Science with a broad-based education in the social, behavioral, and biological sciences, preparing students for the practice of contemporary dental hygiene and for leadership roles in oral healthcare of the future..

Dental Hygiene Degree Completion

A Dental Hygiene Bachelor of Science degree designed for students who have obtained an associate's degree or certificate in dental hygiene, or who have completed some (but not all) of the coursework for a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. This program can be completed on-line ( via E-Learning) or on campus.

Dental Hygiene Graduate Program (MS)

A two year program that provides opportunties to conduct research in basic, behavioral, and clinical sciences and to serve the university, the profession, and the community.
