Global Initiatives - Kenya

The Kenya Summer Research Program is an interdisciplinary effort to improve the quality of life in Meru, Kenya. The current status and needs of the residents are understood by a series of surveys and focus groups conducted by the different disciplines. The main efforts of the dental school were the adult oral health surveys, children oral health surveys, and community focus groups, along with other collaborative projects.
