Sotirios Vrettos is from Greece. He graduated from the University of Athens School of Dentistry in 2007. For the academic year 2007-2008 he attended the undergraduate clinic at the University of Athens as an observer and he was an assistant in the pre-clinical practice of the students in operative dentistry procedures. At the same time he worked as an external associate at the Department of Dental Treatment of 251 General Air Force Hospital for six months. After that he completed his year-long mandatory military service in the Hellenic Air Force where he had the specialization of dentist.
By pursuing the combined certificate/master’s degree at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry Dr Vrettos aims to advance his clinical as well as his research skills and develop an outstanding background that would render him competent for providing medical services of the highest level to his patients. He is proud to be part of the Class of 2013 and feels assured that he will gain the theoretical and practical knowledge that will serve him well throughout his future professional career.
